I recently completed my Masters in Library & Information Science at San Jose State University and began this blog as a LIBR 203 Peer Mentor.

The creator of HYP Radio at HipYoungParent.com, I have also been a Fids & Kamily awards juror. My children's internet radio station, and "No Barney, No Britney" philosophy, has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and the LA Times.

When not immersed in library studies and children's music, I can be found sporting my apron collection at Smart Gals events, losing my voice at rugby tournaments, hanging out in metro stations, and making snarky buttons and t-shirts.
